Jennifer Kavur is a multimedia journalist based in Toronto, Canada. She holds over seven years experience in print and online magazine publishing, having served senior-level roles at national consumer electronics and technology magazines as well as leading trade magazines for K-12 and post-secondary educators.

Her stories have been­ published in ITWorldCanada.com, ComputerWorld Canada, Network World Canada, CIO Canada, ITBusiness.ca, Photo Life Magazine, Macworld.ca, HUB: The Computer Paper, HUB: Digital Living, hub:ce magazine, TEACH Magazine and Higher Learning Magazine. Her work has been reprinted by PCworld.com, Macworld.com, Computerworld.com, Networkworld.com, Infoworld.com and CIO.com.

Formerly a senior staff writer for IT World Canada, a Canadian media company affiliated with IDG, Jennifer reported technology industry news geared to IT managers, C-level executives and business professionals. Prior to IT World Canada, she served as editor-in-chief of hub:ce magazine and managing editor of HUB: The Computer Paper (formerly HUB: Digital Living), two national print magazines dedicated to consumer electronics.

She also holds introductory experience within the PR field, having served as an account coordinator with global public relations firm GCI Group in 2008. Her past roles include editor-in-chief of Toronto-based YYZ Lifestyle Magazine, which she helped launch in early 2005. She also worked as associate editor of TEACH Magazine and headed the launch of Higher Learning Magazine in early 2001.

Jennifer has appeared in the media as a source for technology news trends, and was nominated for a Kenneth R. Wilson business journalism award in 2010.

Her academic background includes undergraduate studies in English language and literature, philosophy, psychology and the visual arts at the University of Toronto, University of South Florida, Andrews University, Newbold College and Lakeland Community College. She received a BA with a dual major in philosophy and English literature from the University of Tennessee in 2000, and holds a certificate in graphic design for print and web from Humber College.
